PROFESSIONALS hairdresser around Indonesia was colorfully compete at a grand hair event. Where? When? It’s L’Oréal Color Trophy 2016 and 20th May was the grand final for their 35 finalists. Six categories were judged by its fusion colors creativity, cutting, styling, and mix matching look with the dress. It was about a package of appearance. Can’t have the Alessandra Ambrosio at the hair, yet a Lenong show at the dress and so the shoes, right? X)
Anyway those 6 categories are; The Color Trophy Award, The Men’s Image Award, The Young Colorist Award, special category Best Color Award, special category Best Cut & Style Award, and People Choice Award. As for the winner of Color Trophy 2016, would be compete globally at International L’Oréal Colour Trophy in Lisbon, Portugal. And the great story comes from Semarang.
Lie Kuang & Co Creative Salon holds up 5 awards for 4 categories. Winner and first runner up for “The Color Trophy Award”, first runner up for “Men’s Image Award”, winner for “Best Color Award”, and winner for “Best Cut & Style Award”.
Purity, The SWAG, The Flux, and Super Women are four different themes Lie Kuang & Co’s team presented for each category. “Purity” is a desert inspired hair style, which has enormous wavy hair in dark ash brown to light beige colors. This Purity got double award; its the winner of Color Trophy Award and The Best Color Award.
Move to “The SWAG”. This runner up for Men’s Image Award inspired by Hiphop culture; undercut and square layer technique in light ash blonde color. Futuristic atmosphere landed in “The Flux”, first runner up for Color Trophy Award. A dynamic short hair in light pearl brown to light burgundy colors. A dare-fierce looking beauty.
Last but not least, women-Anime-superhero were presented in “Super Women”. A strong character in smoked ash to pastel pink shoulder length hair. This strong-feminine got Best Cut & Style Award. Well, all the best for the international final Color Trophy at Lisbon Portugal in October, then bring the good news for Indonesia. 😉
